What exactly do we mean by Thursday follow ups? #

The Thursday follow-ups are one of the strongest sales boosters at our company πŸ™‚

Most people who order the previous week forget about placing their orders and sometimes need a little reminder to get it in before the deadline.

Since our ordering deadline is Thursday at midnight, we send a customized SMS message to all the clients who ordered the previous week but haven’t placed their orders the current week yet, so they are not left out.

For this, we need to use a feature from our website that allows us to get a list from clients with the filter of the clients that haven’t ordered since last week and haven’t placed an order in the current week yet to message and assist them in their ordering process if needed.

 

 

 

 

How do I know which clients ordered last week but haven’t ordered this week? #

Hi there, here you will learn how to generate the reports from WordPress, kick in, and help us.

The first step is to click on ” Woo Commerce,” and then on “Export Orders” like that, the website will show us the menu of different reports our website can create!

The second step is to click on “Profiles” to see the reports we can generate.

There will be a report called “follow-ups” right before the “delivery report” at the bottom of the screen.

Click on it, and it will take us to the filters of the reports, where we will get the list of clients we are looking for!

In this step, you need to select the date range for the clients you’d like to generate the list ( in this case, we will always choose to be from the previous Saturday before the current sales week until the current date).

Once this date setting is all set up, it is important to click on “save settings” at the bottom of the page. When we create the list the following week, it will be easier to pick the dates and generate the list again.

Next step: Click on “export w/o progressbar,” and you’ll get a report with names and phone numbers of the clients that we are looking for to contact them.

The generated list will give us repeated names, and in front of these names, it will show us if the order is “processing” or “completed.”

Right-click with your mouse in the “full name” collum, and then click in “sort ascending.”

After that, it is a matter of organizing our sheet to work with it.

The first step is deleting the order number column, as this information is irrelevant to what we need. πŸ™‚

Once the names are sorted, this is how we know which clients will need to follow up with:

If it’s a single name that shows “completed,” – we must follow up with the client (green example on the following screenshot).

If it’s a double name that shows “completed” + “processing,” – we do not need to follow up because it means that the client ordered the last week, but they already ordered for the current week. (red example on the following screenshot).

As simple as this!

When you set up all the steps that we explained above, it is time to make our list visually ready for the texts, as you can see below:

As we discussed previously, you keep just the information we need to follow up with them (name & phone number). Once your list is ready, you are more than welcome to add the file to our current sales week and let your coworkers know that it is time to start the follow-up texts!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How do I follow up with them by text once I have ready the list of new clients? #

The last but not least step of our Thursday follow-up is to finally send the messages to remind our clients to order. We send the following message to each one of them. We use the following text structure:

“Hi _______, this is_______ from 2 Guys with Knives. Happy Thursday! Just following up to see if you would like any meals for next week πŸ™‚

Our deadline is today at midnight. Thanks and have a wonderful rest of your day ☺️

Some of the clients will reply that they will place their order soon, others won’t place orders for the current week, others might not reply, and some might ask us to place their orders for them, or they can always come up with questions and concerns. The secret is always to be kind to them, regardless of their answer and help them as much as possible to get their order through.Β
